En del af det rekreative område, Stige Ø, ved Odense kanal. Her skal være plads til forundring, nysgerrighed, udforskning, opdagelser og ikke mindst udfordringer.
En unik oplevelse, fysisk, socialt og æstetisk, med et originalt kunstnerisk udtryk på en særegen lokation. Det historiebevidste formsprog tager sit konceptuelle udgangspunkt i referencen til Stige Ø’s tidligere funktion som losseplads. Den koniske skraldespands- / beholder-form skaber nogle helt klare fordele i forbindelse med funktionalitet, variation og konstruktion.
Elementerne synes umiddelbart at være tilfældigt efterladt, eller tabt, på stedet, mere eller mindre indtaget af naturen over tid.
Allerede ved ankomsten begynder elementerne at præsentere sig. Efterhånden som man bevæger sig ad opstigningen fortættes elementerne og leder de besøgende længere opad, for til sidst at eksplodere i den store formation på toppen.
This project is a part of a recreational area, Stige Island, situated by Odense canal. Here’s room for surprises, curiosity, exploration - and plenty of challenges, no less.
A unique experience, physically, socially and aesthetically, with an original artistic expression at a very special location. The shapes of the design references the history and function of Stige Island as a dump-site. The conical waste basket / container shape is advantagous to the functionality, variation and cosntruction.
At first glance the objects seem to be randomly scattered or dropped around the site, with nature more or less absorbing them over time.
The objects present themselvesat the approach and lead visitors along the climb. As you cross the hill bordering the plateau, an explosion of elements and movement opportunities present themselves in the middle.
