- er medforfattere på flere publikationer inklusive DS/EN 16899 standarden, og har mange års erfaring med tværfagligt samarbejde og rådgivning af andre arkitekter, bygherrer, byplanlæggere og designere.
Fra de indledende samtaler med klienterne, afkodning af kontekst og behov og de første højtflyvende design idéer, til at gøre alting klar til (og muligt for) produktion, montage og implementering… Vi har prøvet det hele!
Erfaring og forståelse af processens mange led og detaljer gør os ikke kun til bedre designere, som skaber bedre løsninger som virker og bevæger folk - det får os også et helt andet perspektiv på de rammer vi omgiver os med som mennesker og bevægere, fysisk såvel som kulturelt.
Vi stiller os aldrig tilfredse med middelmådighed. Vi stræber altid efter ny viden og at gøre tingene bedre. Vi er ikke bange for at fejle, så længe vi er fuldt ud bevidste om eksperimentet og de potentielle risici - at vide hvad der ikke virker er ofte mere værdifuldt end at vide hvad der gør!

Risk is everywhere and all around us all the time. Embracing risk and risk management as a positive design parameter thus adds to the constructive and succesful process.
Norms and standards exist so that users can trust spaces, objects and equipment to be as safe as it needs to be, and to help designers, manufacturers and owners do their part in minimizing or removing unnecessary risks.
With norms and standards it’s not about removing the magic of the overall vision, making it as difficult as possible for people to do their work - it’s about good and intelligent design. It’s common sense and responsible professionalism. Applying a wrong standard, or not knowing your responsibilty isn’t.
But granted, it can indeed be difficult to navigate the technical jungle of norms, code and requirements without feeling the vision becoming compromised.
